A marriage made in shoegaze heaven. The combination of the Fauns’ dreamy soundtrack, film score guru Clint Mansell’s remix and Jonny Cloony’s cinematic astral visuals create a feast for the eyes and ears. Perfection? I’ll let you decide, but I’m probably biased as my brother Elliot is guitarist for the Fauns.
The original track is from the Fauns’ 2009 debut album, whilst this mix forms 1 side of their limited edition Pink Vinyl release for Record Store Day 2013. It certainly whets the appetite for the new album due to drop later this year.

The use of illustrated typography really caught my eye on this campaign for Honda.
From Creative Bloq:
Think of car ads and you think of vehicles whizzing through sweeping, picturesque vistas. To promote its new vehicle, the Brio, Honda wanted to do something a little different.
Teagan White, a freelance designer and illustrator from Chicago, was approached to create a different type of campaign. Instead of pictures of the vehicle in action, the campaign uses illustrated typography to highlight the contrast between the reliability of the Brio and the often unpredictable tastes of the young target buyer.
Art direction was taken care of by DDB Johannesburg, with Teagan drawing the illustrations in graphite on paper with colour added inPhotoshop.

And now some street art for advertising by mobile phone company Orange in Bristol and Birmingham, UK. I didn’t actually seen any of these around town at all although I recognise a couple of the locations… they look good.

A big projection for a big brand
Coca-Cola’s Headquarters’ 3D Makeover
To celebrate their 125th anniversary, Coca-Cola created a 3D projection display on its headquarters building. It took 45 projectors to create the effect as shown in the video and will run through the end of the month.
Very impressive and overwhelming 3D projection display to cover an entire building. Who needs billboards or big TVs in the city when you have a building advertising your company?
